Full Validity Passport (32 pages)
NZ$234.00 adult (over 18 years) - 10 year passport

Frequent Traveller (64 pages)

Additional Penalty Fees for Lost / Stolen Passports
The following fees are applicable if you are replacing a current passport that has been lost or stolen (see page 5 of the passport applcation form for more information).
NZ$77.00 one document lost / stolen in the past 5 years
NZ$234.00 two documents lost / stolen in the past 5 years
NZ$467.00 three or more documents lost / stolen in the past 5 years
Emergency Passport
NZ$87.00 All persons
If you meet the criteria for the issue of an URGENT, 4 page, limited validity emergency passport (issued within 2 working days - not including postage time), an additional fee of $100.00 is required. Payment for such applications can only be by eftpos, bank cheque or money order. Not all passport applications are eligible for this service. Please contact one our offices prior to lodging your application. Due to its limited validity, an emergency passport may not be suitable for some types of travel or visa applications.

Passport processing time is 10 working days provided all requirements are met. Please allow extra days for courier time within New Zealand.
To avoid delays please ensure your identifier is easily contactable by telephone during normal business hours.

If you are applying from the Cook Island and paying by telegraphic transfer you should note that there will be bank fees incurred which you will have to pay. Please check with your bank for the level of these fees and ensure that the amount is included in your tranfer.
