Famous Australians 
Some Australians have walked proudly across the world stage, others have just wanted to do a job and be left alone. The people in this section are those who have become famous for one reason or another whether they liked it or not.
The following is of course only a very small selection of the people who are well known in their respective fields. And not all of those included were actually born in Australia, but rather came to make Australia their home form other countries. Either way, these individuals came to regard themselves as Australians, and Australians took them to their hearts.
